Re: My first p64
Welcome to the forum :hi: VG price on your pistol, especially in like new/unissued condition. The accuracy of these little pistols surprises most folks, myself included. I used mine last fall for my concealed license renewal and still can't belive i shot as well as i did. With all your years of expe...

Beretta 84F Cheetah .380acp
Purchased a pair of these last month from Century Arms. Italian police trade ins, some holster wear with minor nicks and scratches, the internals are still VG and the crome lined bores still look like new. The slide is blued steel and the frame is an aluminum casting that has been black anodized and...

I concur. Never cared much for stainless pistols but she's a winner for sure. I'm gonna guess those nicely made grip panels are walnut(?) and they really give her that extra special look.

Re: romanian carpati?
54, First time i saw one was this past weekend at our local gun show. Kinda cool looking little pistol (like you say, a ppk) and the quality was very similar to my 2 Romy TTCs. Unlike my Toks, it even had "Cugir" stamped on the slide. Machining was a little rough, and if you held it just s...

Re: Mosin Nagant Rifles
Nice looking collection Papa! I'm up to seven now (2 91/30s, 4 M38 laminates, and a 1945 M44). Last winter, just for kicks, i did a side by side shooting comparsion with the M44 and 91/30 at 50 yards. I did slightly better w/ the long rifle, but both shot pretty well using Bulgarian LB. Not the best...

Mosin Nagant collecting
Any other members out there that have a fondness for the old Russian bolt guns? Alot of fun to collect and shoot, surplus ammo is plentiful, and they can double as a big game rifle with enough range practice. You can even add a scope if you're old and half blind like me. :D I'm up to 7 now and hopef...

Re: 9x18 jhp vs. fmj
I guess I really just wanted to see what yal use for SD FMJ vs. JHP... feel free to expand on you vote (what brand of ammunition and your experiences with it) I use Fiocchi 95 grn. FMJ as my carry ammo. At the range i practice with Silver Bear FMJ, always ending my range session with at least 2 mag...

Re: Just traded into an R61
Same here, the 9x18 bug bites pretty hard. Sometimes i feel like a man on a mission. I must own at least one example of every handgun chambered in 9x18.
Fine looking R61s gents, i especially like the crest stamped on the slide.
Great looking FEGs, thanks for sharing.

Hey Ski
She's a real beauty, very nice pics too.
Holster also looks like new, any stampings on the underside of the flap?
