J&G is Killing Me
Irish, Good for you!! Let us know. I'd like to see one for myself before I buy one though. I had seen and held P-64 before I purchased one, it's just the way I am. I don't like buying things sight unseen, never comfortable with it. As for the 'Sheet metal' stampings, you're right about the AK-47 the...

J&G is Killing Me
I've never seen or handled one, but the write up says it has 'Sheet metal stamped parts'. Honestly that makes me pause a little bit. Like some of the guys said. I'd maybe get an other P-64 or spend the bucks to find a Russian or East German Mak. The grip is a bit uncomfortable for me on the CZ-82.

Couple 3" S&W M36 & M13
I have a ROSSI copy of the SW M36-5. I've had it for over 20 yrs. Inexpensive, dependable and surprizingly accurate. It's now the wife's night table gun loaded with 'Silver Tips'. It's the one she like's best, after the 20ga. Remington 870 youth model loaded with buck.

should i trade S&W 39-2 for cz-82?
I had a Colt Commander in 9mm. The worst piece of crap I ever owned. I changed mags, polished the ramps, everything. Back and forth to the gunsmith numerous times. Could count on it 'Stove piping at least two rounds per mag. The only thing it would feed properly was Federal FMJ. Do what you want, bu...

catastrophic failure
Guys have you seen the pictures of the guy that was at the range?? There was a series. The first one showed the guy about to fire his rifle, then you see he still has a laser boresight in the bore. I can remember saying to myself 'Surely he's not going to fire that?' The next picture the barrel is p...

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
I've used Hornady, Silverbear JHP'S, FMJ'S, some Winchester's. The best is the 1000 rds. ordered from Georgia Arms brass, with Speer Gold dots. Per advice, never used Wolf ammo. I've also polished the ramp, changed recoil and hammer spring to an 18 pounder. It's got a sweet DA and about a 2.5 to 3.0...

P64 VS Kel-tec P3AT??
jbabs, I don't know what it is, but I just can't join the 'Made by Mattel' bandwagon. Guns ARE SUPPOSED TO BE METAL, with wood grips. Guess I'm getting senile.

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
Welcome darylj. This is a pretty good group here. Lot's of knowledge about our Polish beauty. Several places sell the P-64. Ammo is not that hard to come by. Although several self defense rounds can be hard to come by. As for carry rigs, there are several options I have one of Dickfunks rigs that I'...
