Taurus 431 44 Special
I use 200 Silvertips. I've also got some 240 gr. PMC'S and 240gr. reloads from a guy. The hps are easier than the 240gr. I have one of the older generation 3" Bulldogs. I like it.

Any comments on Blue Wonder?
You can use the 95 percent Isopropyl. Be warned, a static spark WILL ignite it. We used it to clean and remove residue from electronic circuit cards. I witnessed a sailor cleaning with it and soft cloth set his hands on fire. We wondered what all the fuss was about, we couldn't see the flame, it bur...

Wow people really jack up the prices...
Guess it depends on where you are and timing. I always look after hunting season is over. Small towns seem to have a little more sense where I'm at. I was in a pawn shop in Norms stomping grounds in Lakeland FL. at the corner of McDonald and 98 (was down for my daughter's graduation from Florida Sou...

Wow people really jack up the prices...
I've found some good buys a couple of pawn shops. We as Americans have lost the ability to' Haggle' over the price of things. I've bought several pieces, after clearly stating the price was too high. Walked away, then came back after a couple of days with a much lower price. Sometimes I've won,somet...

I too live in Florida. All I have to do is feel threatend, and you're toast, not that I would do that. But it's nice too know the law is on my side for a change. I've been reading the box of truth for some time. Check out the 'Buick of truth'. It'll open some eyes a little. There is an absolute weal...

They can't sue you if they're dead. Hornady chambers fine. Use Silver Bear if you must, or FMJ. But, it's hard to argue with a 12ga., it's better to give than receive.

Lost my grip nut
Ask, Norm. You can search thru the threads. It's been addressed before, Got a small metric,shallow/thin hexnut from say home depot. Heated it it and oil quenched it for bluing I think. What size, it seems the outer diameter was 3,4mm, they made thin hex nuts. I sure it's metric thread though. I woul...

Hornady is a good choice. If you can find it. Georgia Arms also sells, brass case with Speer Gold Dot JHPs. But has a long lead time. Silver Bear has JHP's, but has questional expansion.

Who knows, there may be a time when you have to barter. It's better to get out in front of a bad situation. When the government started suspending gun and ammo sales after Katrina, and justified taking people's protection motivated me. Especially living in florida, my official residence anyhow. 400 ...

Don, I'm getting older some times if I'm getting ready to do something I haven't done in a while, something I know is going to hurt. I'll front load with a couple of Advil to take the edge off. I have shorter fingers, but a thick, broad hand. I don't have a problem with the P-64. You have the same s...

This may sound funny, but take some Advil BEFORE YOU GO. Then work with some physical therapy putty for your hand, especially the trigger finger. Try the red putty.

I only have the one Romanian. It's a natural pointer to me. Putting a wrap around grip would spoil the feel of it.

I do believe Brownells, Sarco, AIM, Centerfire systems has them in 15, and thirty rd mags. My uncle in St. Louis owned 15 laundromats. When I worked for him, we carried lots of cash, and rolled coins. This was in the very early 70's, St. Louis was bad even then. We carried a lot of different types o...
