conscript47,there was a guy on ebay that had a set of original grips.The auction was over today,no bids.His ebay name is varny516jc.Im sure you could still get them.I think he wanted $27 for them.-Robert

odonoma, if you want a 45 for ccw just to have for its stopping power the Glock 36 is probably the thinest, smallest,and lightest 45 out there at 6.77in x 4.76.in ,width 1.13in,weight 20.11oz.I know its not a 1911 but it is very concealable.
