Would love to see a 2200 chat room, but for us computer dummies, where's the chat box, and at the top of what? Would also love to get answers on the trigger spring replacement. In the instructions, a #25816 sounded great, but then it was stated below, that the 16# spring was causing mag ejection wit...

Dick,
Thanks for the picture lesson. I'm an old dog with not much computer experience, but am trying.

Slip-on Grips
Cruiser, these are actually Butler Creek grips for $6.99 that look like the med. size in my Midsouth Shooters supply catalog. The small size says small and med. size autos, and has no finger slots. Hogue has similar for $5.49. I copied the picture from the Gunboard Mak site, and the poster said they...

Touching up the bluing
Outers has a 3 pen kit that is cheap, and works great for touch up. You get a pre-cleaner, blue touch-up, and final wash pen. Got mine at Midsouth shooters. 800-272-300.
Or you can try Midway or your local shop.

Holser options
For what it's worth, I've read that the P-64 fits nicely in any PPK carry option.
Makes sense to me.

I also like this post for the caution and care applied. Now don't give up on the P64 yet. With very little time you can fix everything that people object to about them. Some friends and I bought four of them, and I went through them and did the following: 1 I cut a little over two and a half loops o...

abwehr, Like your thought process on the DA pull. Read about several trigger changes in the early seventies, yet pull remained about the same. My impression is, since it was used by both military and police, that safety and reliability were the reason. If springs are changed, I recommend some shooti...

Mine is a 76 with flat grips, but I handled a p-64 with the thumbrest at a show today, and thought it felt better in the hand, and probably forces a proper grip. About slide wiggle, mine really has only a hair of it. Would really like to hear comments from those who have changed springs. I've seen r...

Did I almost blow my gun up?
Have heard some bad stuff about the Silver bear russian ammo, and don't think that 115 gr is good for this small pistol, anyway. Notice that most other 9x18 is in the 90 to 95 gr range. Heavier bullets = harder recoil, too. Fiocchi, S&B, Barnaul, Norinco, and CCI are good quality. Sounds like a ...

Seems like you're the only one who got the thumbrest grip. What don't you like about it?
Did anybody else not get flat grips, and what are your comments?

Really appreciate all your work in setting up this board.
I know guns OK, but not computers. Only message boards I'm checked out on are Yahoo's. How do I make a reply to a specific post as opposed to just adding one on at the end that they may not see?
Thanks,
Stan

P-64 Holster
Does anyone have information of the original holster that was issued with the P-64? I would love to have one of these to go with the pistol. If Poland got rid of the pistols, looks like they would have sold off the holsters too.
