Re: Serious question about CZ-82
I would suggest dropping down in caliber if she is having issues with her hands. I would recommend the Beretta Tom Cat in .32acp. I already know what most people think of the caliber, but it has proven to be effective, compared to a gun you cannot shoot. It has a tip-up barrel for loading the...

Black powder pistols
Thanks for all the info and offers to help. Unfortunately, I have to put this on hold...my son gets braces this month, so there went all my fun money for awhile.
Thanks, y'all, and I will do this later, I hope.

I bought 3 from here... http://www.buymilsurp.com/cz82-and-cz83 ... 40924.html .
They were a total of $96.96 shipped to my house. They all work well in my CZ-82.

How a P-64 compares to a PPK
I say there is a big difference. One is 9x18 and the other is 9x17. The 9x18 Makarov is .364 in bullet diameter and more potent than the 9x17 ..354 diameter bullet size. That's why the P 64 kicks like a rented mule but that's a good thing in my book. I agree with you on the caliber. I was referring...

How a P-64 compares to a PPK
A friend left his Walther PPK with me for a few days, so I snapped some photos so that y'all can see what they look like next to each other. Enjoy! Black powder pistols
I think I have narrowed it down to a .36 Remington New Army revolver. Don't really know why that particular one, just think it suits me and my ideas best right now. Who knows...may start a whole 'nother addiction to go with my .22 handguns and 9x18 pistols...lol

Black powder pistols
Anyone here do anything with black powder pistols? I have been thinking on getting one or 3, and was wondering if I could find a nice forum, kinda like this place, only for black powder guns.
Thanks!
Thanks!

ammo for home protection?
I load up with the Corbon PowRball ammo. 75gr hollow point with a nylon ball in the hollow to help feeding.

just curious...how much did you pick it up for? when I see things like the pa-63 going for almost $300, I start to worry. Oh, man...I slept several times since then!! I don't recall right off what the actual price was. A little more than what J&G had them for, before adding FFL fee. I think it ...

22 lbs Recoil Spring
Flatten the ends, I did it on the side of the wheel on my bench grinder. Went slow so I did NOT overheat anyting. I really like it with the 22lb spring. I bought the pack, and tried each one. Stayed with the 22lb.

Here are some photos of my CZ 82 http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u59/bison7704/czright.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u59/bison7704/czleft.jpg Nothing special, just mine. Had to do some car repairs, so the Wolff springs will have to wait a little while longer. Will Update when I do change...

Yahoo! I got one! CZ82 that is
I went looking around today, and at a local small store they had one CZ 82 left. So I bought it. Just finished cleaning it up and fired one full magazine to see how it goes. Shot it along with the P-64, and there is a noticeable difference in recoil. Does anyone recommend changing the recoil spring,...

Odd SA/DA problem
Seems to me you could take the broken piece in to a local machine shop, along with some photos of what it SHOULD look like, and they should be able to either weld a piece on to yours, or fabricate a whole new one, for not a whole lot of money. I have talked with a friend who does stuff like that, hi...

Thank you kind sir!! Tuesday I will be purchasing (Lord willing and nobody else has bought it yet) a CZ82. Going to be looking for any info on 'fluff and buff' or known in advance things like the Wolff springs for the P-64. Ahwell....someone else got it. See about getting one another time and place.
